Red Button Vintage Creamery Churro Ice Cream Sandwich
What you’ll need:
Cinnamon Sugar Cookie:
- 1 cup Food Club Butter
- 1 ½ cups Food Club Granulated Sugar
- 2 medium Food Club Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Food Club Vanilla Extract
- 2 ¾ cup Food Club All Purpose Flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon Cream of Tartar
- ½ teaspoon Food Club Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Food Club Salt
Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Topping:
- ¼ cup Food Club Granulated Sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoons Food Club Cinnamon
Ice Cream Layer:
- Red Button Vintage Creamery Ice Cream, flavor of your choice (we used Canadian Vanilla)
- Food Club Chocolate syrup (optional)
Steps to Savor Sweetness:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and set ingredients aside.
Cream butter and sugar together until light in color and well combined. Add the vanilla extract along with the eggs, one-by-one, and mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and add wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Once the dough has formed, drop balls of dough on a well-greased cookie sheet and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until covered. Place each ball back on the cookie sheet and bake for 10-11 minutes.
Make sure to let it cool before topping with a generous scoop of your favorite Red Button Vintage Creamery Ice Cream, and drizzle in chocolate syrup for an extra hint of sweetness. Enjoy!
